The RosesbyDesign website is owned and operated by Roses By Design Ltd. By
accessing, browsing or using this website, you agree to the terms, conditions
and disclaimers herein as amended from time to time. By purchasing an item
advertised on this website and/or by completing a purchase, you agree to be
bound by these Terms and Conditions. RosesbyDesign may amend these Terms and
Conditions from time to time and any amendment will become effective immediately.
Your continued use of this website after amendment constitutes an agreement
to abide by and be bound by those Terms and Conditions, as amended.
Three Day Claim Policy:
As each flower is unique, so too, are your special requirements and concerns surrounding your order. For that reason, we ask that you please contact us via email to discuss any queries or concerns you may have in relation to your flowers sent or received. A number of resolutions may be available to you and are subject to your particular situation.
On average, the flowers should last between 5 and 7 days. Should your flowers perish within three (3) days of the delivery date and we are satisfied that all care instructions provided have been followed, RosesbyDesign will review each claim and in most cases be happy to resend new flowers. To assist us in quality control, it is our policy to either collect the original flowers upon delivery of your resend, or ask the recipent to take a digital image and email it to us with their claim. Regretfully, we cannot arrange a resend of fresh flowers to you if the original flowers are disposed of, thereby making them unavailable for our florists to assess the cause of the problem. Fresh rose petals have a short shelf life are are meant to be used for 1 day events only. To maximise there life they should be kept chilled until use.

Fraud:
Any party engaged in illegal activities involving the use of this website
will be subject to civil and criminal sanctions and prosecution. RosesByDesign
does not guarantee that it will be able to prevent any illegal or inappropriate
use of this website, nor that it will give notice of any illegal or inappropriate
use of this website. It is an illegal violation to place orders under a false
name, with a fraudulently obtained credit card or without the consent of the
cardholder. All persons found to have placed a fraudulent order will be prosecuted.
VAT: (Value Added Tax)
Our products and services attract a Value Added Tax (VAT) of 17.5%. All prices
advertised are inclusive of all taxes applicable to the respective countries
that the product is being delivered in. This is a broad based tax on consumption,
which applies to the supply of most goods and services.
Currency:
All prices on rosesbydesign.com and rosesbydesign.co.uk are listed in UK
pounds (£).
Alcohol:
All alcoholic products offered for sale by RosesByDesign are NOT available
to persons under the age of 18 years.
Substitutions:
Substitutions may be necessary to ensure your roses or extra gift is delivered
in a timely manner. The utmost care and attention is given to your order to
ensure that it is as similar as possible to the requested item.
Flowers:
All floral products ordered will be delivered as stated, your chosen colours
shown online will be used if at all possible. For roses and petals we will
make every attempt to match the colour type chosen, but may substitute with
another colour if it is unavailable.
Packaging:
All packaging displayed in online images may be different to that supplied,
we make every attempt to match the featured packaging with the one your roses
will be delivered in. The prime purpose of the packaging is to deliver the
products safely without damage.
Extra Gifts:
The products in the extra gift section may be substituted with another extra
gift of equal or greater value and of similar theme and category.
Cancellation of Orders:
Should you need to cancel your order, money will be refunded less a £15
administrative fee, ONLY IF notice is received by RosesbyDesign 24 hours prior
to the scheduled delivery date. Cancellations received with less than 24 hours
notice will be charged at 50% of the total order value. We are unable to cancel
orders that are already prepared and are with our courier for delivery.

This site provides links to other related sites. RosesByDesign is not responsible
for the privacy practices or the content of such web sites. RosesByDesign
does not warrant the security of any information supplied to RosesByDesign
through its website. Further, RosesByDesign does not warrant that any information

Embossing Order Times
Orders between 300 and 1,000 roses require a minimum of 4 business days, orders
over 1,000 require 5 business days.
Standard Messages:
A message that has already been created and is listed on the “Standard
Message List"
No additional order time required.
Orders with ‘Standard Messages’ will be dispatched the next day.
For large orders see Order Times above.
Design Your Own Message:
A message that is unique to your order and is not included in the “Standard
Message List”, for example, “Happy Birthday Sarah”, See
above.
Messages can be 25 characters in length or less, including spaces and punctuation.
Maximum of 4 lines of text.
Orders with ‘Design your own Messages’ will be dispatched the
next day.
For large orders see Order Times above.
Logos and Images:
The embossing area on the rose is 2.5cm x 2.5cm. If you have an elongated or rectangular logo, modification may be required. (Please plan accordingly, we suggest you print out your artwork in a 2.5cm x 2.5cm square to determine if it will look pleasing to your eye). All logos need to be emailed to images@rosesbydesign.com
Logos need to be emailed in “vector art” formats, eps or ai files.For jpg, gif, or other formats, there will be an additional £5.00 charge for conversion to usable format.Any logo or artwork needing modification will be billed at £10.00/hour, minimum charge £10.00.An email address must be included for design approval if requested.
Customers approval is required if:

The logo will not look good in our 2.5cm x 2.5cm embossing area.

The order is over 50 roses
Orders with ‘Logos and Images’ will be dispatched the next day, once approval is confirmed.
Pictures:
All pictures need to be emailed to images@rosesbydesign.com

Pictures need to be scanned in the JPG format:

Preferred Scanned resolution 300 DPI, (minimum 150 DPI).

Only the main subject of a picture will be created for embossment on the rose, no background will be used.

Orders with ‘Pictures’ will be dispatched the next day, once approval is confirmed.

All pictures will be embossed on white roses in black ink.
Orders:
Only orders with products that are currently available will be accepted.

All orders for next day delivery need to be submitted by 1:00pm (GMT).

Orders with roses embossed on 2 sides must be approve by our production department.

Orders greater than 50 roses CANNOT be cancelled during the seven business days prior to delivery.
Standard Product rules:

Single Stem Rose (Fresh) orders should be in quantities that are multiples of 25 with a minimum of 50 stems ordered.

All Roses will come with the head protected by tissue paper to protect the rose during delivery.

All Single Stem Roses will come without a sleeve, unless otherwise requested at an additional cost.

All Boxed Roses are one colour and one logo/message.
-
Roses are delivered in boxes designed for 1, 3, 6, 12, 25 and 50 roses.
Rose Colours:
Standard Rose colours are as follows:

Any other colour of rose is a special rose colour.

Special rose colour orders are available, however please call our sales team to consult with us about rose varieties/colours and availability. Special rose colours will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

Special rose colour orders require a minimum of 50 stems, and seven business days for processing. RosesByDesign cannot guarantee exact colour matches but can come very close.

Special Rose Colours may not be available during some seasons.

Silk Roses:
Silk roses come in the following colours:

We can emboss a silk rose on both sides.

Silks can be ordered in any quantity. For large silk orders please call for availability and order times. Special silk rose colours are available but require extra time, please check with our sales team. Standard embossing ink colour is black
Fresh Petals:
All orders require 5 days notice before delivery. All rose colours and embossing
colour rules apply.
Payment:
Payment must be received before all products will be dispatched. Acceptable
forms of payment are as follows:

Cheque by Post
Once your online order has been submitted you have 5 working days to send
your payment via cheque, if this is the option you choose. A further 3 working
days is required to process the cheque.

All our fresh floral products are delivered using or ‘Special Next Day UK Delivery’ we do so to ensure that our products are delivered in peak condition and on time.

All our fresh flower orders sent by next day delivery are guaranteed to arrive next working day,
usually before 1pm from Tuesday through to Saturday.

Acknowledgements:
All orders are acknowledged via email. Please read carefully and contact
RosesbyDesign immediately with corrections. Orders will be processed and billed
as per information in our order acknowledgement email. Any changes made to
an order after receipt must be confirmed in writing.
Important Flower Delivery Information:
Applies to all merchandise - Please bear in mind that flowers are perishable
items. Make sure you select a delivery address where the flowers can be cared
for on arrival. If your recipient is not at home at the time of delivery,
the flowers will either be left at their door or reception, with a neighbour
or returned to us. In case of any delivery problems, we will contact the sender
by phone or email, please ensure that you provide us with a valid contact
telephone number and email address. We will never give, lease or sell your
personal information.
To help us deliver the flowers first-time, please leave any additional delivery
instructions at the time of ordering. We strongly recommend that the flowers
are put in a vase immediately upon arrival and that the recipient follow the
flower care instructions enclosed with the flowers.
Authorization and Indemnification:
By placing an order with ROSESBYDESIGN, you represent and warrant that you
have the authority to order, purchase and distribute merchandise containing
the names, trademarks, logos, copyrights, etc. identified in your order. You
also agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless ROSESBYDESIGN, its parent,
subsidiaries and its affiliates and representatives, from and against all
claims, liabilities and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or
related to and actual or alleged infringement or misappropriation of any trademark,
copyright or any other proprietary right of such merchandise. This provision
will remain in effect after delivery of your order.
Blackout Dates:
Rose prices vary throughout the year. Usually RosesByDesign does not pass
along the difference in prices, however, for orders delivered during the Valentines
Day holiday period (Feb 1st to Feb 14th) and the week before Mothers Day (2nd
week in May), RosesByDesign must pass along the increase from the growers.
This is usually a 25% to 50% increase. Call for pricing during these periods.
